About this Package
The Rhode Island Department of Health: Board of Mental Health Counselors and Marriage & Family Therapists requires that counselors complete 40 hours of continuing education within each two-year renewal period; all of those hours may be completed online. This package contains the maximum number of online CEs allowed by the board for renewal requirements (40) and includes 20 (twenty) hours in ‘Category 1, Formal Programs’ required for renewal. The courses selected within this package include a survey of current trending topics to support counselors’ ability to remain current in their field.
