Frequently Asked Questions
Will I receive a certificate of completion?
After you complete each course section online (by clicking the “COMPLETE & CONTINUE” button at the end of each online course section) and pass the course post-test (greater than or equal to 75% correct), you will immediately receive a link to your completion certificate in your email inbox. A copy of your completion certificate will also be automatically filed in your online HFO account so that you can view and download it as needed any time.
How do I know if HFO is approved for my required CE?
Check our Approvals page in the site header to see our CE Program approvals list. In addition, the “Approvals Section” of each course description page will list the specific approval details for each individual course.
Will you report my completed hours for me?
For all states and boards we have approval for, that are tracked by CE Broker, we report all CE credit hours within 24 hours.
Can I include more than one license number on my certificates?
Yes! Just send us an email at [email protected] with your additional license number(s) from the email address you used to create your account and we'll happily include it for you.
Once I purchase the courses, how long do I have access to them and how long do I have to complete them?
At HFO , we aim to provide the best possible continuing education experience. As such, none of our courses have time limits nor expiration dates with regard to completion. Feel free to complete your chosen courses at your own pace, from your computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
Will I need to take a test after the course?
Yes, because our online courses are home study/distance learning courses, you must complete and pass a test of objective learning; a passing score is 75% correct or better and you have four attempts to pass the test, after which you will need to contact us to proceed with your course. You will also be asked to submit a brief program evaluation to help us improve our program and serve you better.
Can I print out the courses?
For your convenience, you are welcome to download a PDF copy of the course content by clicking the Download icon at the top right of the PDF Course Download Link page. Please note, if you do opt to view the course content in the PDF format, you must still endorse the “COMPLETE & CONTINUE” button at the end of each course section from within your online account in order to complete your online CE activity. Additionally, the course post-test and program evaluation are only available online and are not provided as downloadable PDFs.
How do I access my courses?
If you are logged in, click on My Dashboard at the top right to find your enrolled course/s. You can use the search bar from your dashboard to find the course or simply scroll down and click Start Course.
What is your refund policy?
We are happy to provide a full refund as long as you make the refund request: within 30 days of the initial purchase of the course, before the course has been 100% completed, and before you receive your certificate of completion.
Is your site ADA accessible?
