About this Package
The Virginia Board of Counseling requires that counselors complete 20 hours of continuing education for each annual licensure renewal; all of those hours may be completed online. This package contains the maximum number of online CEs allowed by the board for renewal requirements (20) and includes 3 (three) hours of ‘ethics, standards of practice, or laws governing behavioral science professions in Virginia' required for renewal. The courses selected within this package include a survey of current trending topics to support counselors’ ability to remain current in their field.
