Step 6 – Take the Test of Objective LearningSuccessful completion of the test of objective learning is defined as a score
of >75% correct. You have an unlimited number of times to take the
test toward this goal and there is no expiration date associated with your course.
To Take the Test Online: Once you have linked through to each
course section, the “Take Test” button
(located at the bottom of the course section box and the bottom of each
course page) will become activated. (Please note, if you have downloaded
the course content and reviewed it offline, and are now accessing the
online course to take the test, you must link to each course section
at least once to activate the “Take Test” link.) Linking on any of the “Take Test” buttons will bring you to the test of objective learning. You have the option to "Save" your answers on each page of the test before proceeding to the "Next" page of test items. This is recommended in the event you need to retake the test and want to see your answers upon returning to the test. (Click on the graphic below for a larger view of the sample screen.)
Once you’ve completed all the test items, link to "Score Test" to submit the test for immediate scoring. You will know if you passed immediately and your exact test score will be e-mailed to you.

To Fax or Mail the Test: Download a copy of the test following the download materials instructions in Step 5. Complete the test and fax or mail it to:
When using this option, please allow a two week turn-around for scoring and issuance of your certificate. You will be notified by e-mail if you do not satisfactorily pass the test and need to resubmit it. Continue to Step 7 - Complete the Course/Program Evaluation |
